What is the 2011 RACQ South Queensland Tourism Industry Conference?

Formerly the South East Queensland Country Conference, The South Queensland Tourism Industry Conference is a favourite event in the regional tourism calendar. The Conference draws delegates from across South Queensland to network with other industry members, identify new opportunities for their businesses, and obtain a greater understanding of regional tourism.

In its seventh year, the SQTIC is a great opportunity to network with industry operators, Visitor Information Centre staff and leading industry delegates from your region.

This year’s conference will aim to provide a larger variety of workshops, hot topics and motivational ideas together with the inclusion of Tourism Queensland’s, “Conversations with TQ” and an optional pre-conference workshop focusing on Local Government, QTIC-Y and Visitor Information Centres.
 
The full day program on Wednesday will once again cover a variety of relevant topics with inspirational guest speakers and, for the first time, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Tourism Master Class the following day which will feature workshops as an extension of specific topics covered during the previous day.

For up to three days of new and exciting education and training opportunities relative to all regional tourism operators, mark theses dates in your diary!

Tourism Queensland works in partnership with the five regional tourism organisations (RTOs) of South Queensland (Brisbane Marketing, Fraser Coast South Burnett Tourism, Southern Downs and Granite Belt Regional Tourism, Toowoomba and Golden West Tourism and Tourism Sunshine Coast to implement Destination Management Plans.
