QTS - Consultation

The development of the QTS involved a broadly based industry, government and community consultation program.

The tourism industry regional consultation commenced in July 2005. Key industry and local and state government stakeholders in regional Queensland were invited to contribute their views towards the development of a draft Strategy.

The draft Strategy was released for a period of community review and feedback in June 2006. The consultation period has now been completed and all feedback has been collated and considered in the creation of the final plan.
