Domestic Marketing Activities

The core components of TQ’s 2007/2008 SEQC marketing campaign include:
  • Destination Brand Promotion - 12 month planned brand advertising and promotional activity (including television, cinema, online and print) to target markets.
  • The South East Queensland Country Touring Guide (10th Edition) - production of an annual publication and supporting marketing and distribution strategy in partnership with RTOs and industry.
  • Seasonal Cooperative Campaigns - opportunities for industry to participate in four seasonal cooperative campaigns under the SEQC banner.
  • Stand Alone Cooperative Advertising - opportunity for operators to save by booking their advertising through TQ at a discounted rate.
  • South East Queensland Country Club Magazine - seasonal publication direct mailed to subscribers four times a year.
  • South East Queensland Country e-Newsletter - seasonal eNewsletter sent to subscribers four times a year.
  • Updating and maintenance of the South East Queensland Country website www.southeastqueenslandcountry.com.au, as well as creation of additional campaign websites.
  • Destination media and publicity familiarisations
  • Advertising tracking and marketing research

Cooperative Advertising

Tourism Queensland offers members of the five regional tourism organisations of the SEQC region many opportunities to be involved in cooperative advertising. Advertising in this format includes all of the SEQC branding elements and creative, and several operator ‘panels’ (see examples below). You can participate in cooperative advertising opportunities by purchasing a panel in an advertising feature.
