The Sunshine Coast offers a wide variety of quality tourism and leisure products ranging from coastal beaches and waterways to scenic hinterland areas, national parks, world-class resorts, quality restaurants and several built attractions.

The Sunshine Coast is located 100 km north of Brisbane and incorporates the beach side towns of Caloundra,  Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum, Noosa and Cooloola Coast.  The region extends from the Glass House Mountains in the South, including the northern portion of Bribie Island, to the Cooloola region north of Noosa Heads and west to Kenilworth, the Mary Valley and Blackall Range. The Sunshine Coast is within easy reach of Brisbane, with access by rail and road via the Bruce Highway. The region supports a domestic airport at Maroochydore.  Sunshine Coast Airport welcomes direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne.

Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd is the regional tourism organisation (RTO), which is responsible for marketing the Sunshine Coast region as a tourism destination.
