The newly developed Tropical North Queensland brand was launched to the domestic consumer on March 4, 2007 with the largest ever integrated media campaign including television, outdoor, magazine and online activity across the key source markets of Sydney and Melbourne.
The 2008 brand campaign for the ‘change your latitude’ brand took place in March 2008 consisting of Outdoor, Transit, TV, Cinema, Online and ran until the end of May. The Sunlover Holidays/ Tourism Queensland/ Tourism Tropical North Queensland, Tropical North Queensland retail campaign commenced in April 2008 on the back of the brand campaign and ran until 30 April 2008. We offered industry tiered levels of participation to allow for varying budgets. The call to action was all major retail chains including Flight Centre, Harvey World Travel, Escape Travel, Travelscene American Express, Jetset, Travelworld, Queensland Travel Centre and www.changeyourlatitude.com.au.
