Aviation - Queensland Commercial and Tourism Aviation Plan 2008 - 2010
The Queensland Commercial and Tourism Aviation Plan was initially launched in 2002 and subsequently updated in 2008.
It forms part of a suite of aviation plans developed under the auspices of the Queensland Government's 'Aviation Strategy for Queensland '. Other aviation plans are the Queensland Aviation Sector Action Plan and the Queensland Airports and Regulated Air Transport Plan.
The Plan is structured around five priority action areas that will drive airline route development in Queensland :
- Airline Route Development
- Cooperative Marketing
- Policy and Regulatory Environment
- Research, Analysis and Market Intelligence
- Partnerships
Implementation of the Plan will be progressed in consultation with industry and other relevant stakeholders.
