Phase 7- Tourism in the Asia-Pacific

(Assessment Phase)

Introduction

In Phase 7 (the Assessment Phase), you will review all previous activities and apply these to tourism issues in the Asia-Pacific area. You will select a region in the Asia-Pacific area, and using all the concepts addressed throughout the module, create a profile of tourism in that region. Two options for presenting the findings are suggested - an oral presentation and/or a magazine article. Numerous sources of information are suggested to assist you with completing this Task.

NOTE: This Phase contains one Activity. You will need to complete at least Tasks A, B and D. Tasks C and E are more difficult. Discuss with your teacher whether you need to do these Tasks. You will have a choice on how to present your findings to your class and teacher.
