The development of the QTS was led jointly by Tourism Queensland (TQ) and the Department of Tourism, Fair Trading and Wine Industry Development (DTFTWID). The planning process was guided by a government/industry steering committee.
An operational team consisting of TQ and DTFTWID staff and key industry/government stakeholders undertook day-to-day planning and operational activities.
