The Queensland Adventure Tourism Action Plan has been developed by Tourism Queensland in consultation with the adventure and dive industry. The Plan sets out a range of key priorities aimed at improving the profile of the state's adventure tourism sector, and aims for Queensland to be recognised as the premier soft adventure destination in Australia, for both domestic and international visitation.

The Adventure Tourism Action Plan will provide a clear direction for the future development and marketing of the adventure tourism sector over the next three years (2008-2011).
