Benchmarking and Certification Program Review
Tourism Queensland has conducted a review of environmental programs available to Queensland operators. The program review includes only those programs that meet the following three criteria:
- Offer environmental certification and/or benchmarking services;
- Are available to Queensland tourism operators, including small to medium sized enterprises; and,
- Apply to the operational phase of an organisation.
The information provided in the matrix has been gathered through direct surveying of the programs. Should you have any queries regarding this information, please contact the appropriate program representative identified at the bottom of the matrix.
The matrix below includes information only on those areas where the programs are different. In addition to those detailed in the matrix, all programs also have the following membership benefits:
- A logo/brand to use in marketing collateral;
- Access to new information (e.g. research);
- Toolkits and guidelines;
- Networking opportunities; and,
- Opportunities to participate in promotional / advertising material.
