Scope 1 - Direct Emissions are those created by you, from sources that are owned or controlled by you. e.g. emissions released by resources owned or managed by your organisation, including company vehicles (such as an airport shuttle bus), refrigeration equipment, etc.
Scope 2 - Indirect Energy Emissions are greenhouse emissions created by your use of purchased energy. e.g those emissions generated by your power provider in order to supply your property with electricity. These emissions can vary and some suppliers offer sustainable energy solutions to reduce these emissions
Scope 3 - Other Indirect Emissions are those greenhouse emissions as a result of your activities, but occur from sources not owned or controlled by you such as those products and services you utilise. e.g. emissions produced in the operation and management of your business. These can include air travel of guests or employees, waste disposal and management, or any other activity, service or product necessary for your business to operate but not directly controlled or operated by you
