Recreation Dive and Snorkel Research
Tourism Queensland, in partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, the Association of Marine Park Tourism Operators, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and Dive Queensland have undertaken research into the Recreation Dive and Snorkel Market in Queensland to establish up-to-date statistics. The research was undertaken through the inclusion of supplementary questions in the International and National Visitor Surveys conducted by Tourism Research Australia, from 01 April 2006 through until 31 March 2007. A snapshot of the research findings can be found below.
