Ecotourism - Queensland Ecotourism Plan
The Queensland Ecotourism Plan 2003 - 2008 Sustainable Tourism in Queensland's Natural Areas (QEP) outlines the vision and policy for the future of ecotourism in Queensland. Its purpose is to provide a framework for planning, developing, managing and marketing Queensland's ecotourism industry, to ensure it is ecologically, commercially, culturally and socially sustainable.
Tourism Queensland is the lead agency for implementation of the QEP in partnership with other relevant state and local government agencies, the tourism industry and the wider community.
