The Business Entry Point (BEP) is an online government resource for the Australian business community. It provides business with a wide range of services and information about start-up, taxation, licensing and legislation, as well as taxation compliance and licence applications.
GrantsLINK
GrantsLINK is a database of Commonwealth grants available for community projects. The site also provides information on preparing application forms and writing submissions. GrantsLINK is managed by the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. Business Resource Centre
The Business Resource Centre is an initiative of the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry. The Business Resource Centre provides business information assistance to help make your business a success. A tailored information package on your particular business can be prepared for you to help answer questions such as:
- Who are my competitors?
- How many sales or what profit could I potentially make?
- What factors will affect my success?
- Is my location ideal?

Smart Small Business
The Smart Small Business is a portal developed as part of Queensland government's commitment to small businesses. It is designed to assist small businesses in all areas including licensing, starting a business, business services, and online services. The portal links to key business tools including:
- Smartsite
Smartsite provides tools such as discussion forums, community groups, web-services, and the opportunity to create a free smart-account that allow you to customise and tailor the resources from Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry that you need.
- Business Bookshop

Smart Skills is an online learning site for people in business or starting a business. It contains information and short courses in a range of subjects including business planning, exporting and selling. It contains links to a range of free subjects available to Queensland businesses.

Invest Australia
