Queensland Education and Training International (QETI)
The QEIT is a dedicated unit located in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. QETI’s role is to develop the long -term International education and training export industry to Queensland. It provides leadership to international education and training providers, both public and private. Examples of QETI’s activities include:
- Providing funding and support through a grants and sponsorship program to support Queensland education export activity
- Coordinating and hosting programs and seminars on international market opportunities
- Developing scoping studies for potential Free Trade Agreements
- Undertaking a range of collaborative research programs on issues affecting international students in Queensland e.g. International Student Accommodation and Transport issues
- Development of a Study Queensland website focused on a long-term/degree course search facility
- Publishing a range of marketing material in several languages
- Coordinating international marketing and profiling roadshows for education providers under a whole of Queensland banner

Education Queensland International
EQI is the unit in the Queensland Government;s Department of Education, Training and the Arts that manages education programs for international students in Queensland's public schools.
