We are committed to achieving a high standard of corporate governance throughout the organisation, including the executive and managerial level. Through this commitment, we have adopted appropriate systems and processes to direct and manage the business and affairs of the corporation.

Statement of Intent


Tourism Queensland is a statutory authority of the Queensland Government established under the juridiction of the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry. Tourism Queensland provides leadership and guidance to the State's tourism industry and delivers the Queensland Government's tourism agenda in national and international markets through an integrated approach to tourism planning, marketing and destination management.
