Regional Tourism Investment and Infrastructure Plan

The development of a Regional Tourism Investment and Infrastructure Plan (RTIIP) for destinations across Queensland is also an action coming from the Queensland Tourism Strategy. A joint RTIIP is being developed incorporating the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast regions and commenced in August 2007. The finalised plan is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2008.

Eli Creek

Eli Creek Boardwalk has been upgraded and re-opened ahead of schedule in December 2007.The upgrade was valued at $52,000 and has resulted in the replacement of the bridge and steps to provide access to toilet facilities.
