Regional snapshots for year ended March 2010 - five regions 

Queensland

Brisbane
International visitors increased their travel to Brisbane over the year ended March 2010, however domestic declines continued. Click here to read more.

Gold Coast
Domestic travel declines are starting to level out for the Gold Coast, a boost in international visitors further assisted the recovery. Click here to read more.

Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast saw a decline in domestic visitors over the year, however international visitor numbers remained stable.  Click here to read more.

Tropical North Queensland
Tropical North Queensland benefitted from the increase in Melburnians and international youth visitors travelling for a holiday. Click here to read more. 

Whitsundays
Similar to the state trend, the Whitsundays welcomed more Victorian visitors, whilst the international youth market grew. Click here to read more.
