Queensland's Outback Adventure

Queensland’s Outback Adventure was an exciting online event for year 6 & 7 students and teachers keen to participate in interactive educational experiences involving the inspiring people, places and wide open spaces of Queensland’s Outback. Online activities linked students with a group of 15 year 6 & 7 students on a touring safari to Outback Queensland from 10-16 October 2010.

Throughout this event, students interacted online, sharing their daily experiences and the insights of the people they met as the visited Queensland’s Outback and learnt about historical and contemporary issues affecting the region. Visit www.queenslandsoutbackadventure.com.au and follow the daily adventures and read what the teachers and students had to say about their school excursion to Queensland’s Outback.
