Worksheets

We have provided worksheets for you to record your answers to each Activity and Task. There is one worksheet for each Phase. There are two ways in which the worksheets can be used. You can print the worksheets, record your answers on them and hand this in to your teacher, or you can record your answers on the worksheets in electronic format and email them back to your teacher. Note that these worksheets are not compulsory. They have been provided as an option to record your answers to the Activities and Tasks. The answers could alternatively be recorded in your notebook.

There are two ways to access the worksheets in this module. All the worksheets are listed below. Simply follow the instructions to save the worksheets onto your computer system and print them (if required). Alternatively, as you work through the Phases throughout the module look for the word 'Worksheet', which can always be found on the left hand side of the screen. Click on this word to take you back to this section to access each worksheet.

The steps for printing out a worksheet vary, depending on whether you are using a Macintosh or PC (IBM-compatible) computer and whether you are using the Netscape or Internet Explorer browser. Follow the basic steps outlined below, depending on which type of computer you are using.

PC
Right-click on the underlined word (e.g. Worksheet 1) found below, using the right mouse button. A menu box should then pop up, choose the "Save link as ..." or "Save target as ..." and you will be prompted to save the file. Save the file, making sure you save it in a directory as instructed by your teacher. Then open the file in a word processing program (such as MS Word) and print it out.

Mac
Single click on the underlined word (e.g. Worksheet 1) found below. You should be automatically prompted to save the file to your computer. Save the file, making sure you save it in a directory as instructed by your teacher. Then open the file in a word processing program (such as MS Word) and print it out.

All of the worksheets are in Rich Text Format (RTF) and you should be able to print them out in most word processing programs. However, some original formatting of the worksheets may be lost in some programs. For best results, use MS Word where possible to print out the worksheets.
