Drive - Research

Tourism Queensland and the Department of Main Roads (DMR) began working more closely together in 1999 when developing the Strategic Tourism Roads Study , which highlights the needs for road infrastructure and signage to support the growing tourism industry. This report was the basis for the Drive Tourism Program and an ongoing partnership to make the tourist's drive experience the best in Australia.
